Nairobi is buzzing with anticipation as it prepares to host Africa Global PR Week 2025, a premier gathering that will spotlight how artificial intelligence is transforming communication and amplifying African voices on the global stage.

This year’s theme explores the power of public relations as a driver of socio-economic development, showing how strategic communication can accelerate Africa’s development agenda.

The event will feature thought-provoking keynote addresses from industry leaders including Dr. Yetty Ogunnubi, CEO of YD Company (Nigeria), Israel Opayemi, Managing Director of Chain Reactions Africa, and Paul Holmes, Founder & CEO of PRovoke Media. These experts will share insights on integrating AI into communication strategies to strengthen brands, shape public opinion, and expand Africa’s influence worldwide.

Beyond the discussions, AGPRW 2025 promises rich networking opportunities. Participants from global PR agencies, technology firms, media organizations, and universities will converge to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore new horizons for collaboration.

A highlight of the week is the Youth and Innovation Hub, designed to empower young professionals and university students. The hub will connect them with mentors, allow them to showcase their creativity, and open doors to career opportunities in public relations and strategic communication.

With representatives from over 25 countries, the event is expected to spark groundbreaking collaborations that will elevate African PR practices to international standards. Nairobi, as the host city, sets the stage for conversations that will reshape how communication professionals engage audiences and embrace technology.

As Africa Global PR Week 2025 unfolds, it is not just a conference it is a movement redefining Africa’s role in the global communications arena.
