August 11, 2025 – The wait is over. The 2025/26 football season is here, and SuperSport is ready to bring fans every moment of the beautiful game.

From August 10, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A action returns live and exclusive to DStv, Showmax, and GOtv.

Whether at home or on the go, fans can enjoy every goal, every tackle, and every unforgettable moment on SuperSport – the home of football.

Kick-off Dates

The Premier League kicks off on August 15 at 21:00 (CAT) with Liverpool hosting AFC Bournemouth.

La Liga begins on August 15–16 (time to be confirmed) with champions Barcelona opening their title defense away to Mallorca.

Serie A starts on August 23 at 18:30 (CAT), with Napoli facing Sassuolo away from home.

Fans can catch all 380 Premier League matches on the SuperSport Premier League channel (223). Over 300 La Liga games will air on SuperSport La Liga (224), along with more than 300 Serie A matches. Access will depend on customers’ specific DStv, Showmax, and GOtv packages.

And it doesn’t stop there.

SuperSport will also bring fans the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. Crystal Palace will defend their FA Cup fairy-tale, PSG will aim for back-to-back European titles, and underdogs will chase glory across Europe.

African football will also shine with coverage of the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and Betway Premiership.
