The partnership was officially launched on June 12 at PROTO Energy’s headquarters in Nairobi. The event drew executives, stakeholders, and sustainability advocates who are united in their vision for a cleaner, more connected energy future.
The partnership aims to streamline LPG distribution by blending PROTO’s energy expertise with GoBEBA’s cutting-edge social commerce technology. This new model promises easier access to clean fuel and supports Kenya’s clean energy transition, aligning with global sustainability goals.
GoBEBA co-founders Lesley Mbogo and Peter Ndiang’ui also expressed their enthusiasm. “PROTO’s scale, technological expertise, and dedication to safety make them an ideal partner in enhancing the convenience and accessibility of LPG for households across Kenya,” they stated.
Peter Ndiang’ui, GoBEBA’s co-founder and co-CEO, emphasized the partnership’s significance. “We have been determined to ensure that customers can get two things they’ve never had before: genuine, safe gas and convenience. With the GoBEBA team, we guarantee you’ll receive genuine PROTO gas or SeaGas delivered to your doorstep seamlessly.”
He further explained that the demand for LPG in Kenya continues to rise as more people shift away from burning fossil fuels. “LPG is a cleaner solution, so demand is increasing. We’re setting ourselves up to meet that demand, and together with GoBEBA, we’re on the right path,” he said.
