The 56th edition of the prestigious golf event, presented by Absa, will be held at the scenic Muthaiga Golf Course from February 20-23. The sponsorship underscores the bank’s commitment to growing the sport and positioning Kenya as a premier golfing destination.

Of the KES 60 million, KES 40 million will support the local organizing committee through Kenya Open Golf Limited (KOGL) to ensure a seamless tournament. The remaining funds will be used to enhance promotional activities and create exclusive experiences for fans and stakeholders, thereby increasing the global appeal of the event.

He emphasized that beyond competition, sport plays a critical role in empowering communities, promoting tourism and driving economic growth.
