Hon. Bright Shitemi Brings Hope to Coast Fire Victims with Acts of Kindness.

Families affected by a recent fire tragedy at the Coast have found a reason to smile again, thanks to Hon. Bright Shitemi’s generous support. The legislator fulfilled his promise by donating mattresses, clothes, shoes, and food items to help victims rebuild their lives after losing everything in the blaze.
For many, his visit was more than just a donation it was a gesture of compassion that reminded them they were not alone. “We had nothing left after the fire, not even a blanket,” said one emotional mother. “When Hon. Shitemi came with these items, we felt seen and cared for.”
Residents described his move as the kind of leadership that Kenya needs one grounded in empathy and action. “He didn’t just talk; he showed up and helped,” said a youth volunteer who assisted in distributing the relief items.
Hon. Shitemi’s act of kindness has also inspired conversations back home in Dagoretti North, where supporters are calling on voters to give him “Tano Fresh” another term to continue his people-centered leadership.
“Leaders like him restore our faith in public service. He delivers, not just promises,” a supporter said during a community meeting.
Through his actions, Hon. Shitemi continues to prove that leadership is not about power, but about service about standing with people when they need it most.
