Nairobi, October 7, 2025 – Incoming ODM Chairlady Rosemary Okuta has urged Kenyan youths and women to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise and register in large numbers ahead of the upcoming elections.

Speaking during a media interview yesterday, Okuta emphasized that the power to shape Kenya’s future lies in the hands of young people and women, urging them not to sit back as decisions are made without their voices being heard.

“Time is not on your side. If you have not registered as a voter, this is your moment,” she said. “Take your ID cards, visit your nearest polling station, and register to vote. The stations will be open from morning to evening.”

Okuta reminded the youth that the voter registration exercise officially commenced on Monday, September 29, 2025, noting that every vote will count in determining the country’s leadership direction.

She called on all eligible Kenyans, especially first-time voters, to take part in the process and make their voices count through the ballot.

“Your ID is your ticket to change. Use it wisely,” she added.

The voter registration drive targets millions of unregistered young people across the country, aiming to boost participation in the next general elections.
