Nairobi, Kenya – August 8, 2025 — Global technology company Zoho has recorded an impressive 39% year-over-year revenue growth in Kenya, propelled by rising demand for its unified business solutions and sustained local investment.
The milestone was announced at Zoholics Kenya 2025 in Nairobi, where the company also unveiled its proprietary large language model, Zia LLM, along with a suite of AI tools aimed at redefining enterprise productivity.
Built entirely in-house on NVIDIA’s AI accelerated computing platform, Zia LLM is designed for business-focused applications, including structured data extraction, summarisation, code generation, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
It is available in three model sizes 1.3 billion, 2.6 billion, and 7 billion parameters each optimised for specific contexts to ensure a balance between performance and resource efficiency.

“Our LLM is trained for business use cases with privacy and governance at its core, enabling customers to harness AI effectively while safeguarding their data,” said Premanand Velumani, Associate Director of Strategic Growth for Zoho MEA.
Alongside the model, Zoho introduced Zia Agents Studio and more than 25 pre-built AI agents, allowing businesses to co-create with AI through a no-code interface. These innovations are supported by a Model Context Protocol server, which opens Zoho’s extensive library of actions to third-party AI agents.
“Kenya is one of our key markets, and by building our AI solutions fully in-house, we ensure powerful, flexible capabilities while keeping customer data secure on Zoho servers,” noted Veerakurmar Natarajan, Zoho Kenya’s Country Head.

The company’s rapid growth in Kenya is anchored on a 25% compound annual growth rate over the past three years. In 2024 alone, Zoho expanded its local partner network by 83% and grew its Kenyan workforce by 72%.
Leading products driving adoption include Zoho One, Workplace, CRM Plus, CRM, Books, and Zoho Desk, with strong uptake across sectors such as IT services, finance, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, real estate, and construction.
