Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro is playing his cards close to his chest. Fresh off his removal as chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee, Nyoro refused to reveal his next political steps during a Tuesday press conference.
The move, seen as a rift with President William Ruto’s camp, has left Kenyans buzzing.“I need time to understand the situation,” Nyoro said, calm but cryptic.

His ousting came as a shock even to him.“I found out through the media,” he revealed. “No one from Kenya Kwanza explained the decision.”
Despite the setback, Nyoro thanked supporters for the chance to lead one of Parliament’s most influential committees.
“I’m grateful to the Kenyan people,” he said.Critics accused him of favoring his constituency with resources. Nyoro shrugged it off.
“I don’t respond to evil with evil,” he stated. “I choose the kind of politics I practice.”
