Rosemary Okutu Rallies ODM Women Ahead of Party’s 20-Year Celebration.
Nairobi – Incoming Nairobi ODM Chairlady Hon. Rosemary Okutu has called on party members to stand firm in unity, equity, justice, and democracy as the Orange Democratic Movement prepares to mark its Golden 20 Years Celebration in Mombasa.
Okutu said ODM remains Kenya’s strongest democratic force, rooted deeply across the nation and powered by loyal members who have kept the Orange flame alive through years of political trials and triumphs. She urged delegates and supporters to remain steadfast in their commitment to strengthening the party’s values.
“As democracy-leaning citizens who deeply love our country, this is a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of ODM—Kenya’s largest democratic party, bold and firmly rooted across the nation,” she said.
Okutu affirmed that the upcoming celebration is not just about the party’s past but also about shaping its future, especially through inclusive leadership that empowers women at all levels. She emphasized that ODM women in Nairobi are ready to play a greater role in driving the party’s next chapter.
“Together, we shall keep the Orange flame burning bright as a beacon of hope and transformation for generations to come,” she added.
Party supporters are now gearing up for the Mombasa celebration under the banner of #ChungwaNation, where unity and renewal are expected to be the central themes.
