NAIROBI, Kenya, October 15, 2026 — TVS Motor Company has appointed Pradeep Chaurasiya as Business Head of Africa for its International Business division, placing him in charge of the company’s operations across a continent where he has spent the past eight years building its presence.

Chaurasiya announced the appointment on Wednesday, describing it as a new chapter in his career with the company, which began with responsibility for a single African market and has since expanded to cover more than 50 countries.

“Eight years ago, I started with TVS in Africa with just one country. Today, I’m privileged to lead our journey across a continent of 50+ countries,” he said.

He said his experience had reinforced the importance of understanding Africa’s diverse markets, noting that businesses seeking sustainable growth must appreciate differences in culture, customer needs and local business practices.

“Africa is not one market. It is many, each with its own people, culture, and way of doing business,” Chaurasiya said. “Every step taught me something.”

His remarks highlight the importance of understanding local mobility needs in markets such as Kenya, where transport plays a role in people’s daily lives and livelihoods.

Chaurasiya said learning, curiosity and experimentation would continue to guide him as he takes on the broader leadership responsibility. He noted that the company’s progress had involved testing new approaches, learning from mistakes and building on successful initiatives.

He also acknowledged the contribution of customers, distributors, business partners, colleagues and mentors to TVS Motor Company’s growth across Africa.

Chaurasiya thanked customers for trusting the company’s products as part of their daily lives and livelihoods, while describing distributors and business partners as central to its presence in local markets.

He also credited colleagues for their hard work, ideas and support, and recognised mentors for providing guidance, honest feedback and encouragement throughout his career.

Looking ahead, Chaurasiya said he was focused on building on the company’s existing foundation through continued learning, listening and collaboration.

“I’m excited about what lies ahead, and committed to building on this foundation with humility, with listening, and with the same spirit of experimentation that got us here,” he said.

His appointment marks a new phase in his eight-year journey with TVS in Africa, as he takes on responsibility spanning more than 50 countries.
