Inside Zedekiah Mukoya’s Three-Year Journey Building Wave 360 Africa

Zedekiah Mukoya Reflects on Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Building for Impact

NAIROBI, Kenya — Turning 30 has given entrepreneur and Wave 360 Africa founder and CEO Zedekiah Mukoya an opportunity to reflect on a journey that has combined entrepreneurship, leadership and the growth of a business with an expanding footprint in East Africa.

Mukoya founded Wave 360 Africa in 2022, building the company into a 360-degree communications and marketing agency offering strategy, creative, digital, experiential marketing, events and brand storytelling.

The company has since expanded its outlook beyond Kenya, including Uganda, as it continues to position itself within the wider East African market.

Before venturing into business, Mukoya had a background in law and student leadership. Those experiences have helped shape his approach to communication, negotiation and people-centred leadership.

Over the past three years, Wave 360 Africa has worked with major brands, institutions and public events across different sectors. Its recent work at the Nairobi International Trade Fair further reflected the agency’s growing presence in Kenya’s experiential marketing space.

For Mukoya, however, reaching 30 is not only about the growth of the business. It is also a moment to reflect on the different roles he continues to embrace in his personal and professional life.

“I enter 30 as a CEO still building, a leader still learning, a friend still present, a husband still loving, and above everything, a father determined to leave behind something greater than myself.”

His entrepreneurial journey has also included wins, sacrifices and difficult seasons, experiences that have reinforced his belief that building a business requires more than good ideas.

For him, consistency, resilience, relationships and the courage to keep going remain central to the journey.

As he begins his fourth decade, Mukoya’s focus is shifting from simply growing a business to creating lasting impact across people, brands and markets.

“Three floors down. Still becoming.”
