Ushiriki Wema Women and Youth Empowerment has launched a new partnership network to support women and youth entrepreneurs. The initiative aims to provide entrepreneurs with critical resources, advocacy and networking opportunities to help them succeed.
During a stakeholder breakfast, Chief Executive and Program Director Sintoyia Kasaine emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving economic growth. She highlighted the shared vision that drives Ushiriki Wema and its partners toward a common goal – transforming lives and building a just society.

The program operates under the umbrella of Ushiriki Wema, an initiative led by Tessie Musalia, wife of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Secretary. It focuses on economic empowerment alongside health, environmental sustainability and maternal care. By working with strategic partners, Ushiriki Wema seeks to create a strong support system for women- and youth-led enterprises.
The organization advocates for a business environment that is conducive to the growth of small businesses. It also works to connect entrepreneurs with financial institutions and development partners to ensure they have the resources to expand and reach new markets.
