It is now official. Furaha Chengo Ngumbao will fly the Democratic Congress Party (DCP) flag in the Magarini Constituency by-election.
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation over who would carry the party’s mantle in a race that is expected to draw wide attention in Kilifi politics. The Magarini seat fell vacant after the courts annulled the 2022 election results, setting the stage for a fresh contest.
Ngumbao received the party’s nomination certificate from DCP Secretary General Hezron Obaga in a lively event that brought together supporters and local leaders. The unveiling sparked excitement on the ground, with residents welcoming the development as a new chapter for the constituency.
