Nairobi, March 24, 2026 — Mabati Rolling Mills (MRM), a member of the Safal Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Crown Paints Kenya PLC to offer homeowners a more seamless and cost-effective construction journey.

Under the deal, customers who purchase Lifestile Stone Coated Roofing tiles worth KSh 550,000 and above will receive a KSh 50,000 Crown Paints voucher. The initiative aims to help homeowners transition smoothly from roofing to the finishing stage of their projects.

The collaboration brings together two trusted brands in the construction sector, enabling homeowners to move from structural completion to achieving high-quality exterior and interior finishes with ease.

Speaking during the announcement, Geoff Anthony, Head of Sales for Building Solutions and Steel at Mabati Rolling Mills, said the partnership is designed to simplify the building process.

“We understand that the building journey can be complex and financially demanding. By partnering with Crown Paints, we are offering more than products. We are providing a complete solution that helps homeowners secure their investment with a quality roof while taking the next step in beautifying their spaces,” he said.

Anthony also pointed to the practical benefits of Lifestile roofing, especially for households that depend on rainwater harvesting. He noted that the locally manufactured tiles are certified safe for water collection, unlike some imported alternatives.

“The non-toxic coating ensures harvested water remains clean and safe for domestic use, making it ideal for many Kenyan homes,” he added.

Crown Paints Kenya PLC Group Marketing Manager Kelvin Munyi said the partnership will help homeowners achieve both aesthetic and environmental goals.

“We want to help homeowners turn their houses into beautiful, healthy homes. By joining forces with MRM, we are making it easier to access premium, eco-friendly finishes such as our low-VOC Crown Aqua Glow,” he said.

Munyi added that the KSh 50,000 voucher is meant to reward customers’ investment and ensure they do not compromise on achieving a sustainable and appealing finish.

The vouchers will be redeemable at authorized Crown Paints outlets, giving customers access to a wide range of premium finishes to complement their Lifestile roofs.

The partnership marks a significant step in Kenya’s construction sector, as the two companies combine efforts to deliver quality, durability, and style to modern homeowners.
