The People’s Renaissance Movement (PM Party) on Friday officially launched its new headquarters at Riara Valley Gardens in Nairobi, marking a significant milestone for the young political movement as it seeks to expand its presence across the country.
The launch ceremony, held on May 9, 2026, brought together party officials, supporters, youth leaders, and invited guests, with former Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana serving as the chief guest.
Leaders at the event described the opening of the headquarters as a symbol of the party’s commitment to strengthening democracy, promoting accountable leadership, and creating a platform that places ordinary wananchi at the center of governance.
Speaking during the launch, Prof. Kibwana congratulated the party leadership for taking what he termed as a bold step toward shaping the country’s political future. He challenged young political movements to focus on integrity, issue-based politics, and service to the people.
He noted that Kenya needs leaders who are committed to restoring public trust and addressing challenges affecting citizens, especially unemployment, the high cost of living, and governance concerns.
Party officials said the headquarters will serve as the central coordination office for the movement’s activities, including membership mobilization, policy development, and engagement with communities across the country.
The leaders added that the movement aims to provide a fresh political voice that champions transparency, inclusivity, and people-centered leadership.
Supporters who attended the launch expressed optimism that the party would attract more young people seeking alternative leadership and new ideas in the country’s political space.
