The ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has celebrated its latest victories in several by-elections across the country, describing the wins as a strong sign of growing public confidence in the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Speaking during a press briefing at the UDA headquarters in Nairobi on Friday, UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan congratulated the party candidates who emerged victorious in the by-elections held in different parts of the country.

Hassan praised David Keter following his election as the new Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr after clinching the seat on a UDA ticket.

He also congratulated Festus Kiprop for winning the Endo Ward by-election in Elgeyo Marakwet County and Daniel Lolngojine for securing victory in the Porro Ward by-election in Samburu County under the UDA party.

According to Hassan, the victories reflect the trust that wananchi continue to place in President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration and the party’s development agenda.

“These victories are a clear demonstration of your leadership, commitment and the confidence that the people continue to place in the Kenya Kwanza administration,” Hassan said during the briefing.

The UDA Secretary General noted that the party remains focused on strengthening its grassroots support across the country as it pushes forward with its economic transformation agenda.

He said the by-election outcomes also showed that voters still believe in the promises made by the Kenya Kwanza government, especially on economic empowerment, infrastructure development and service delivery.

The latest wins now add to UDA’s growing political influence in both national and county leadership positions as the party seeks to consolidate its dominance ahead of future political contests.
