Nairobi, Kenya – July 31, 2025 — MultiChoice Kenya has unveiled a major offer for television lovers, introducing a revamped and more affordable GOtv Value package under the new campaign “Tumefungulia Value na GOtv.”
Effective August 1, subscribers will enjoy access to over 40 local and international channels for just KES 599 per month, a drop from the previous KES 699. Additionally, the price of a GOtv decoder has been reduced from KES 1,299 to KES 999, making it easier for new customers to join the platform.
Speaking during the official launch in Nairobi, MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director Nzola Miranda reaffirmed the company’s commitment to providing accessible and affordable entertainment in the face of rising living costs.
“We understand the financial pressures facing our customers. That’s why we are giving them more for less—more content, more value, and more choice,” said Miranda.
The upgraded GOtv Value bouquet features a wide variety of entertainment, from local hits to international favourites. Channels such as Maisha Magic Plus, Maisha Magic Bongo, Nat Geo Wild, SuperSport Football, and Disney Junior are now part of the package.
With the football season returning in August, subscribers will be able to enjoy selected Premier League matches every week on SuperSport Football. Miranda noted that this addition will allow sports fans to stay connected to the action without paying premium rates. Families can also look forward to fresh local dramas like Qware and Lulu, just in time for the school holidays.
To promote the campaign, MultiChoice will embark on a nationwide caravan tour across five regions, bringing the GOtv experience directly to customers and creating more awareness about the offer.
The campaign is open to all GOtv users in Kenya with approved decoders—including new subscribers, returning customers, and those upgrading from GOtv Lite. It also forms part of MultiChoice’s wider “Your World of More” anniversary initiative, which celebrates years of viewer loyalty and service across the country.
