An aspiring Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba, Alphamatone Nyasetia, has declared his bid on a Jubilee Party ticket, promising swift solutions to Kenya’s economic and youth unemployment challenges.

Speaking on Monday at the Jubilee Party headquarters in Nairobi, Nyasetia said his campaign is anchored on delivering “instant answers” to the concerns facing Kenyans.

He threw his weight behind former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, saying he deserves a chance to lead the country.

“This is his time. We will support him to ensure he gets the opportunity to transform this nation,” Nyasetia said.

He accused the current administration of failing to deliver on its promises, adding that Kenyans are growing increasingly frustrated with the state of the economy.

Nyasetia said his leadership would focus on modernising agriculture through agribusiness and fabrication, while leveraging technology and innovation to create jobs for young people.

“I want to ensure we use technology as a key pillar to empower the youth and create employment opportunities,” he said.

He raised concern over rising idleness among young people, warning that lack of opportunities is pushing some into substance abuse.

“It is worrying that many young people have nothing to do. We must act now to give them meaningful opportunities,” he added.

Nyasetia expressed confidence in his ability to deliver change, saying he has practical policies that can improve livelihoods in Nyaribari Masaba and across the country.
