An aspiring Member of Parliament for North Mugirango, Isaac Atebe, has reaffirmed his support for the Jubilee Party, saying it is reorganising for a strong comeback in the 2027 general election.

Speaking on Monday at the Jubilee Party headquarters in Nairobi, Atebe said the party remains firmly under the leadership of former President Uhuru Kenyatta. He added that Uhuru has every right to speak on party matters and guide its direction.

Atebe defended the former Head of State’s recent remarks, noting that he had urged supporters to remain loyal to Jubilee and stay focused on rebuilding the party ahead of the next polls. He insisted that Jubilee is steadily regaining strength and positioning itself to form the next government.

He also dismissed critics questioning Uhuru’s continued involvement in politics, saying the former president is well within his rights to express his views and mobilise supporters. According to Atebe, Jubilee members should remain united and ignore negative opinions from opponents.

The North Mugirango aspirant called on party supporters to stay focused and work together at the grassroots level to strengthen Jubilee’s structures across the country.

Atebe maintained that the party’s priority is to rebuild, mobilise support, and prepare effectively for a competitive showing in the 2027 elections.
